If it’s a new construction, triple glazing is the best choice for optimal thermal and acoustic insulation. With triple glazing, you’re already taking a step towards a low-energy house. For a home that’s over 50 years old with uninsulated walls, double glazing is probably more suitable, but in that case, opt for high-efficiency glass.

What about solar control glass?

Depending on the orientation of the rooms, this can be a very interesting option to avoid overheating in strong sunlight. However, it’s important to know that solar control glass will always have a tinted hue that will darken the room on less bright days.

How do you choose the right color without making a mistake?
