Practical questions
On this page, you will find answers to the most frequently asked questions from our customers, organized by search topics. If you are considering investing in exterior doors, wooden or PVC frames, shutters, or glazing, it is very likely that you share the same concerns.
What are the standards or regulations that window glazing and frames must meet?
All our products comply with CE standards, as evidenced by our PDF documents. Additionally, we have laminated glazing certified according to European standards for sliding doors and windows. High-performance glazing (1.1 W/m²K) allows you to obtain the grants you are entitled to.
Is it possible to install double glazing on an existing window?
Yes, but this work is not carried out by Boulemberg. You should contact a glazier for this.
Are windows and frames recyclable?
Old window frames are recycled: the glazing is broken down in a glass container, and the old wood and metal parts are also sorted and recycled. New Boulemberg window frames are 100% recyclable. The PVC profiles are even made from recycled PVC.
What is the security level of Boulemberg windows?
Standard frames are already very secure. However, you can further enhance this anti-burglary security by opting for more resistant hardware and glazing.
How can I get a quote?
If it's a renovation, our advisor will come to your site to take measurements and closely study your needs to provide you with a detailed quote. Once you agree to the quote, the same advisor will revisit your home to organize the project and take final measurements. An installation team will then intervene a few weeks later.
If it's a new construction, an advisor will prepare a quote based on the plans and specific requests of your architect.
